Feltham was appointed NAIT president and CEO in 2011. Born and raised in southern Alberta, Feltham believes in the essential role of polytechnic education for strengthening the economies of Alberta and Canada through hands-on, technology-based education and applied research in partnership with industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Science with a major in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Montana, an LLB from Queen’s University Faculty of Law and a PhD from the University Of Waterloo School of Accountancy. He is a designated Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA) and a fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA) and was formerly a member of the Law Society of Alberta. Feltham chaired the Taskforce for Teaching Excellence of the Alberta Ministry of Education from 2013 to 2014. He is on the Governing Council of the Standards Council of Canada. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Polytechnics Canada since 2011.
